Life in Soap Land
Our new order of Reclaimed Wood Eco Soap Dishes has just arrived and we're happy to report they are about the same size as the last lot. You might think this a strange statement, but we're dealing with handcrafted goods here and experience tells us variation is the norm. We think variation is the spice of life and love some of the quirkier aspects of handmade products, but still, its good to know our new soap dishes will fit in our gift sets snugly!
Tip for parents: Train your children to return the soap to the soap dish.
I'm afraid I have all but failed in this area and have had to learn to steel myself to the sight of the soggy mushy mess which is a bar of natural soap left wallowing in a pool of water. Our natural, untreated wooden soap dishes do the job of caring for our soap really well; they absorb moisture and help the soap to last much longer. They do this job best if the soap is actually put on them.........
